The best new skatepark in America is in Dallas, TX. This location was home to Skate Time, and the infamous Clown Ramp, which was made famous by amazing Dallas skaters including Jeff Phillips, Craig Johnson, and skated by the best of its day. The city of Dallas is honoring the history with the selection of this perfect new location.

Bachman Lake is a gem in the heart of the city. At the convergence of many roads, next to a light rail station and Dallas Love Field airport, Bachman Lake is an incredible recreational amenity featuring walking trails, playgrounds and a new flagship aquatic center.

On November 7, 2017, the citizens of Dallas voted overwhelming YES to a Parks Bond worth $261.807 Million, including $4M for a concrete skatepark. Parks Department is targeting the skate park at Bachman Lake Park and DART's Bachman Station, just a sort ride from Downtown Dallas. Bachman Lake is in City Council District 6, and the District 6 City Council Member is Omar Narvaez (Mr. Narvaez's FB) and the District 6 Park Board Member is Timothy W. Dickey.
