Skateparks in Dallas
Dallas itself has two open right now.
Bachman Lake Skatepark is the big one. 45,600 square feet at 2512 Webb Chapel Ext, open daily 9am to 10pm with lights for night skating, and sitting right next to the Bachman DART station, the Bachman Rec Center and the Aquatic Center. It opened in May 2025 and it is the first major public concrete skatepark in the city.
St. Francis at Lakeland Hills Park, 2600 St. Francis Ave in East Dallas, is the original Dallas skatepark and the one exception on this map. It is still the old temporary metal ramps, worn and broken. The 2024 Park Bond has earmarked a project to rebuild it in concrete.
A third is on the way. The Oak Cliff Skatepark at Westmoreland Park will be the first public skatepark south of the Trinity River, designed by New Line Skateparks. Phase 1 is fully funded.
Two open parks is not enough for a city of this size, and that is the whole reason this organization exists. A skateboarder needs assessment found Dallas should have roughly 16 skatepark locations, one reachable from every part of the city. We are at one, with a second under way.

All of these are high quality concrete parks built by builders who are also skateboarders. The exception is St. Francis in Dallas, which is metal ramps until the bond rebuild happens.
